Salsa
So my dad won a service from a bar we frequent called the "Booty Mobile", which is basically a purple limo service. It was pretty cool though, a couple of my best friends and I rode way out toward eastern Oregon and stopped at Stonehenge (yes, we have a stonehenge, although technically it's in WA). But it's mostly cool just to ride around in a purple limo with "Booty Mobile" written on the side. :giggle: But the BEST part was that my best friend from Washington came down for the ride, so I got to see her. I might have some pics from Stonehenge soon, though they'll probably be a dark mess.


Snapshot
My camera battery is dead and no one can seem to find the battery charger, so I've been unable to take pictures, which is pretty frustrating. I had the brilliant (ha) idea of just getting some disposable cameras in the meantime, until we find the charger or get a better camera, so expect some ol' fashioned film pics soon. Yay!


Fantasy
I don't know how many Oregonians or nearby-ians watch my journals, but if you're going to Faerieworlds let me know! Previously mentioned best friend and I are going, and I'd love to meet some fellow DA peeps. Note me plox, as I don't usually give out details of where I'll be to complete strangers. :P

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

I'm not a big 4th fan, I don't really like heat or loud noises or summer, lol. But I do like staying in my nice air conditioned room. :D Otherwise I've been good, just doing some volunteer work while I'm looking for paid work. Tomorrow is my first day all by myself, so I'm hoping I'll do alright. :fear: How are you? Did you have a good holiday?
